Update march 2010

Hello friends ...

A new month, a new STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET update ... and there is so much to tell.

Beginning of march we had the pleasure and honour to create a "Touched by STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET" for our favorite project and still our music-hero SUICIDE COMMANDO. "The perils of indifference" is such a great new song from Johan van Roy´s new release, that we try to walk very close beside the original by our work, but we changed the chorus, sounds and we create it as a duet version ... Johan´s voice and my voice rotational.
We create 2 versions and we have the option for another "3th touched by".
Btw ... a "Touched by STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET" for a new song of australian friend ANGEL THEORY "Memories of you" is still in work, stay awake for a very different version.

Our last own song "Staatssicherheit" runs very well, we got much kindly comments for this song and also for the freaky music-video, THANK YOU !

Very soon you can listen to our next track called "Missbraucht", the theme is "the abuse under the holy cross" ... when you read newspapers or watch news in the TV you can expect where i get my inspirations for the lyrics of the song ;p
And, it seems we can offer you this song very soon "feat. a very well known name" as 2nd voice for the chorus ... be more than surprised then !!!!!!

Concerts ... we just came back from ERFURTs "From hell", the live performance runs fine - a very cool location and very kindly people & organizers, what a funny drunken night (fall into bed 6:30 in the morning), but why must my head always hurts so much on the next day, ha ha !!
Last concert just over and the next "short before" ... on saturday the 27th this month we share the stage in VENLO (The nederlands) together with our friends from MODULATE (UK) and THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF EUROPE (NL) at "PERRON 55" club ... starting time is 10pm, so please be punctually to support us all there and make party with us !!

Update february 2010

Dear friends !

A really fine february for the germany/nederlands club electro/industrial project STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET !
A few days fresh by your record dealer is the new STATE OF THE UNION single "Dancing in the dark" incl. the dance floor tried "touched by STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET" (touched by means - musical & singing editing) ... and on the 19th this february, you can get the long awaited debut from mexican project KRIMINAL MINDS, its produced by Rasco (Hocico/DULCE LIQUIDO) and includes the song "La razon de tu existencia [Touched by STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET]"!
Last but not least, there are 2 compilations on the way, on the 23th of february the best electro/industrial compilation series ever goes in round 5, on the fantastic 4 cd box from ALFA MATRIX , ENDZEIT BUNKERTRACKS ACT 5, you will found on cd no.1 "Sick" from STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET and 3 days later the first offical release from END THE DJ see the darkness
More good news ... yes, a new song & video see the light of day, it called "Staatssicherheit" and it reflext not only germany 20 years ago, it is in times where we have to go into "body scanner" on the airport and where our goverments like to watch on our private computers, very very current !!
Next STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET live performance ... "Out of the shadows" together with MODULATE and THE PEOPLE REPUPLIC OF EUROPE in Venlo (NL) at "Perron 55" on the 27th of march.

UPDATE january 2010

Dear people !

Much happen around the last weeks here at STAHLNEBEL base, some good affairs and a sad affair.

Lets start with the good news ... we straight came back from a fantastic concert in Mühlhausen/Thüringen last friday. A great concert with a fine moving crowd before and on the stage ;) it was a pleasure to meet all the kindly people there and we enjoy our live performance and the aftershowparty with DJ Botox and DJ Poltergeist very much ! Thanks to Rene & Chris, they bring us to east-germany for the first time - hope we can let it happen soon again.

Sadly, it was "for the moment" the last concert with [VOLKER]! He decided to leave STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET to contemplate more work in his Trance/Techno DJ passion ... we must accept these now, but never a friend can leave STAHLNEBEL complete ... so we are glad that he will further help us in the background and as administrator of our stahlnebel.com page ! All the best for your DJ career Volker !!!

OK, lets stop with the sad things in our fast world ... its a honour to tell you that 2 of our typical "TOUCHED BY STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET" works will see the offical light of day soon:

STATE OF THE UNION - "Dancing in the dark (Touched by STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET)" by INFACTED RECORDS in january.

KRIMINAL MINDS - "La Razon De Tu Existencia (Touched by Stahlnebel & Black Selket)" by OUT OF LINE in february.

... and also in febuary the probably best compilation series of the electro-industrial scene, ENDZEIT BUNKERTRACKS, open ACT 5 to let your bodies move, sweat and your ears bleed ;) and for the third time including STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET ... sorry, but these situation makes us really proud, ha ha ... this time you will found our song "SICK" (from our LIFELESS EP) on this fantastic compilation - release date is 23th of febuary, dont miss this !!

Update december 2009
Dear friends !

We hope you have already listen to it ... our new "song-baby" called "GENOCIDE" has seen the light of day this friday and we really hope it let your bodies move :-) expect it soon by your next visit on the dark dance floors !

Last weekend we get the fantastic message from well known SIDE LINE magazine that STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET become VIDEO OF THE WEEK on there page with our music-video to our song "TV war".... thanks for there nice taste in music !!
And a special THANK YOU to Kevin (Lord Fragship) my son, for the fantastic job in producing and creating this and our live performance video stuff !!

Only some short weeks until our next live performance in Mühlhausen/Thüringen (15.01.2010)... expect a headliner gig with much songs to move to and a cool videoshow.. lets create a big party together !! we count on you !!

We also try to rebuild a bit (better speed) our page here on myspace and our stahlnebel.com page around the last day of the year ;-)
